I've been a very bad gal recently. I've recently managed to stay up to date in class, do my homework and TRY to understand my lectures... so far so good... (come on, gimmie a break! It hasn't been long since Winter Break)..
Yao!! I've been watching some korean drama for quite some time now, eh?
I was soooooo excited b/c they were all soooo good... but was GREATLY disapointed for their endings... Its like, they're giving you an impression to get your hopes all up, and it SUDDENLY just crashes down when the ending's like <<WHA?>> , or <<WHAT HAPPENED?>> or <<THATS ALL?>> or even <<WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?>>
Check these out, these are the dramas I've been watching for quite some time... (2 weeks each...approximately)
I Like my sister: the story's good, but TOTALY against society's values! These two twins actually like and LOVE each other, and the people who like them are trying 2 split them apart... it seems to be failing at first, but the dude twin finally ends the relationship cuz he says it will hurt them both.... I will give that a weak 5 star rating because compared to the dramas I watched so far, this seemes to have a good valuable lesson, and I really like that they don't hurt themselves in the end...
Couple or Trouble: Actually this story was VERY VERY interesting, and caught my attention, its basically about a filthy rich gal and a minimum wage guy who both are arrogant, when they meet, it seems like an earthquake is coming (figure of speech) but seriously, they hate each other so much that they've threathened each other any time they met. The chick (anna park-- screen name) already has problems with her relationship and is pushing her husband to much that he's threathening 4 divorce. The gal gets wasted so bad that she falls into the sea from her filthy elegant yatch. Next thing you know is she's in the hospital and she now has amnesia. Call it coincidence or what, but She meets san- chelsou (the minimum wage guy) who is was shocked to see she didnt remember him, b/c she had beaten him up (that's why he also ended up in the hospital). he wanted her to pay for her sin, so he offered her 2 come live with him and his 3 nephews until she regains conciousness. This is a great disaster to both of them because she had completely forgotten everything! This drama was SOOO HILARIOUS i wet my pants twice when they threathened attempted to kill each other. I give this a strong 5 thumbs up b/c the it had a good way to get the viewer's hopes up and the ending was ... all the characters futures was revealed.
Goong Princess S: I liked this story, I thought it was good, just a bit odd though. Still, great history and AWESUM humor. I SERIOSLY don't know the characters names, but from the way I've been hearing, they all have nicknames or surnames.. This gal (later to be known as Bigunmama, a.k.a. princess) is a senior student at some high school, with passion for arts and stuff, mostly she adored fashion designing, Her family's avarage class, and not so doing well financially, especially since her dad can't even find a job (he adores doing housework tho.... he's a stay @ home pops), the mama's being doing the outside work.
Word has it that the family's grandpa, before the birth of Bigunmama, he had connection with the old king. For some odd reasons, the grandpa had taught the king how to read and saved his life, the king, being greatful, makes a promise with grandpa to marry off together their first grandchildren. (figure it out yourselves). Anyways, from the king's (who's now dead) lineage, the family's in a lil crisis politically, so they decide to announce a political marriage... they just remembered about the king's promise... so bigunmama now has to marry the arrogant prince. But the funny thing is, they go 2 school 2gether, and most importantly they hate each other.- The arrogant prince already has a girlfriend, (who, I think turns out 2 be a famous to be ballerina) and still has affection 4 her even after he marries Bigunmama. Bigunmama, very new at living in a palace life, stays away from the relationship between them.
Some dude (hey i know his name!!) YUI... is the cousin of the prince. (a lil history rep:) he was supposed 2 be the 2-b king, but his dad died, so he and his mama had 2 leave the position 4 the (now) prince's family who's currently ruling. Ya, after spending time with bigunmama, he falls in love with her and throws a fit on how he was supposed 2 be king, he and his mama had been TRYING 2 destroy the current ruling family so that they could rule, it was working, but things got complicated... anyways the princess and the prince relationship is just straight out... they're not even supposed 2 be 2gether cuz thats how much they dont get along, but they'll work it out eventually... i wont tell u the rest... cuz u gotta find out on your own.... the rating is still is a strong 5 rating, i like the fake history very much, and the way it ended.. still a lil.. what happens.. but hey, everyone was happy.
Sweet Spy: WOAH! I'm just like blown away on how they had made the movie... this is good AND bad. The soundtrack is REALLY cool though! check this out, the begining of the storyto the middle point was like.. OMG, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT... omg OMG!!! then the end, is like WTFK!!! ALL THAT? check this out, the gal (i call her koala, cuz thats her code name) is an avarage cop doing cops things, like cops do and she's so reckless and stuff, but she still cute adorable and nice... while busting out on a sucker who they both got their arse kicked, and bringing him to the station, she had found herself in a celebration of an introduction 2 her new boss... who so happens 2 be her dead husband's junior bro. The dude PRACTICALLY falls in love with her but does not show it.
Koala, is walking across the street minding her own business (still dressed as a police officer) when all of a sudden a car comes in and almost hits her, she gives the guy a ticket to .. my oh, my GOURGEOUS HANDSOMEST guy, (dennis oh) i dont know his screen name tho.. but i'll call him the spy.. anyways, she takes his pen 2 write the ticket and forgets 2 return it. this is where the problem starts.
(story behind the spy): he's a filthy rich spy living a life of a kazillionare in his own private hotel without no one knowing, duh. and he SHTOLE a very valuable pen that contains secret info of what either america or korea plans 2 do with asia... and is just so DARN charming.. so cute!
anyways he sends his "servant" 2 look 4 her and get it back, but you know koala, so reckless, can't even remember where she put the pen. So, she's in trouble, and he takes her in until the ground's safe. He takes advantage of her, by making it look she's the one doing the bad stuff he's doing.. the station is already suspecting of a spy and koala having an alliance, and the boss is VERY furious and keeps watch. bla bla bla happens.. cant tell you the rest... I'll rate this a 4 and a half star. WHY? sounds good don't it? BUT THE FREAKEN ENDING, WAS JUST LIKE OMY GOSH!! WHY DID I EVEN WASTE MYSELF ON IT!! and the end I PROMISE!! it sounded as if it was just the begining!!, i just like gave up and went 2 watch some other drama
Wonderful Life: eh eh, dont even get me started.. I thought this story was going 2 be REALLY good, i PROMISE. out of all the movies so far this was THE WORST ENDING EVER!!!!!
here it goes, but its really good though 2: shin-si (somenthing like that) and chang chen (somenthing like that) are college students both persuing their dreams 2 be a diplomat (shang-si) and pilot (chang chen). They meet in airplane where things didnt start out so great, and both headed 4 (daing, it i forgot the name, but its an asian place and its pretty). chang sang was there 2 suprise visit his girfriend (chang-li) 4 her bday... she CHEATER SELF.. was going out with the ooo, gourgeous handsom Du-hui, (some guy). so back 2 the airport, shang diplomat 2-b and chang, who bumped on each other droping passports and picked up wrong passports, when they parted they found out, it was shang diplomat 2b that went 2 look 4 him (when she left her traveling bag in the taxy she was supposed 2 go in, but he went in first) she spots and address of his girfriend and goes there, thats where the heat made her insane and meeting du-hui made him carry her on his back 2 visit chang-li.. (VERY FUNNY, YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS PART)... bla bla,so du-hui and chang li go on their date, and shang waits 4 whats pilot-2b... after they meet, they go around looking 4 them, and cheng finds out his gal's 2 timing with him and the du-hui guy.. so... he goes in with sheng they get so wasted that they wake up 2 see they have slept 2gether, and cant even remember it.. the chic gets pregnant and a WHOLE issue starts, with family support they have been able 2 get by and by, especially since they got married 2 not bring any bad impression.. now chen li wants diplomat 2b (with now a baby) back, and tries hard 2 fight 4 him, she even gets du-hui 2 go along (who's now in love with shang diplomat-2b) the baby grows up 2 be the most ADORABLE thing you can see on the face of the earth and her name's Shan-bi. Because of the constant arguing, fighting, and disagreement between her parents, 5 yr old shan-bi grows ill.. and is sent out 2 the hospital and is diagnosed with leuckemia.. i know.. saaaad... the family comes 2gether, and is supportive, parents still fight, but have finally realized that they love each other, and they comfort each other especially since they need a bone marrow donor, who took 4ever 2 show up.... anyways shan-bi's dying... (she learned what dying is by a dead chick her mum bought 4 her, and seeing the despensed bear suit her dad always wore 2 cheer her up)...but here's the confusing part... the dad's a pilot, mom's a diplomat, chan-li and du-hui are a couple, and everyone's happy?... WHAT HAPPENED IN THE HOSPITAL?? DID SHE DIE??... then suddenly its a dream... and reality checks in that they're all in a plane going somewhere 2 help better shin-bi's health... WHA?...
THe ending just threw me moff.. A FOUR STAR RATING!!! AND ITS A WEAK ONE 2!!! >:(
